■ポイント■　「exhaust」は「疲れ切る」という意味ですが、他動詞なので後ろに「oneself」がつきます。そうでなければ、「be exhausted」（受動態）になります。

例：　She was exhausted by a day's shopping.　→　彼女は一日中、買い物をして疲れ切った。
