例：　Since he is ill, I can't take him with me.　→　彼は病気だから、一緒に連れていけない。

［課題文の訳］　学期末が近づいたころ、２〜３人の少年が猩紅熱にかかった。そして、猩紅熱の伝染を防ぐために子どもたちがみんな家に帰されるという噂がしきりに流れたが、患者が隔離された後、感染者が増えなかったので、感染の拡大が止まったとみなされた。
