■ポイント■ 「it is obvious that〜」は「〜は明白だ」という意味です。
例： It is obvious that she liked you. → 彼女が君を好きだということは明白だ。
課題文ではobviousとthatの間に「from this somewhat ambiguous letter」が挟み込まれています。
