■ポイント■　「bubble」は、名詞では「泡」、動詞では「泡立つ」という意味が一般的ですが、この課題文中のように「bubble with〜」になると「〜で沸き立つ」「あふれる」という意味になります。

例：　Her imagination bubbles with new ideas.　→　彼女の創造力は新しいアイデアで沸き立っている。

［課題文の訳］　彼女は口数はあまり多くなかったが、成長するにつれ、密かにユーモアのセンスに磨きをかけつつあるようだった。感情を表に表さない外見とは裏腹に、心のなかでは周りの人々の様子を大いに面白がっていることをうかがわせる言葉を時には口にすることもあった。
